Plymouth Elementary PTO invites new and returning Pioneers back to school for our Ice Cream Social on Monday, August 26th from 5:30-7:30PM. Teacher assignments will be sent home via email earlier that day. During our Social, classrooms will be open for students to explore. Enjoy a free ice cream treat in the cafeteria and catch up with your friends. Come say “hi” and pick up a schedule of all the cool PTO events we have planned for the 2019-20 school year while you’re here, too.
The Ice Cream Social is the FIRST opportunity for your student to pick up his or her Chromebook before the school year starts. Information from the school principal, Ms. Doan, was released earlier this week. A copy of her welcome letter is available below.
Families picking up Chromebooks during the Ice Cream Social will need to complete a Student Device User Agreement before receiving the device. The agreement can be downloaded from Midland Public Schools’ website (or below) and brought to the event so you can quickly receive your device. Copies of the agreement will also be available at the school the night of the Social. New this year, insurance is available for the Chromebooks. If you pay for insurance through SchoolPay prior to the Ice Cream Social, please bring a copy of your receipt.

Why Volunteer with PTO?
“What I really love about working with the PTO is interacting with other parents who share a common goal: to better the school that our children attend and in turn better their experience as well as increase their excitement to be there and learn!”Judi Hughes
“I volunteer because my kids enjoy the events that the PTO hosts. I think it’s important to help out so these events can continue to take place. It’s also a great way to get to know the other students that my kids interact with on a daily basis.Jill Wigren
“I enjoy volunteering at Plymouth. The events and activities the PTO puts on are top-notch and the kids love them! It’s a great way to meet other parents, meet your kid’s friends and make a difference in the enrichment of your their school experience.”Deanne Marszalkowski
