At the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, the PTO purchased a popcorn machine with funds generated from donations specifically for the purchase. We use the machine at our social events, including our Carnival, Movie Nights, Dance Party, and…Popcorn Fridays!
Students may purchase popcorn, which will be popped by volunteers in the school’s MakerSpace, then distributed to be sent home. Pre-order forms were sent home at the beginning of the program which allowed families to donate extra bags for additional students at Plymouth. We are happy to say that so far, we have been able to serve EVERY student at school.
Our volunteers make the popping happen! We need to pop about 550 bags to serve every student at Plymouth. It’s an exciting few hours getting it done. Interested in trying it out? Volunteer Poppers can sign up here!
