Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week

We celebrate the Pioneers which help our students learn and grow.

May 6th kicked off our 2019 Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. The PTO planned a little treat for each teacher, paraprofessional, and support staff member at the school. This is a busy time of year, with MStep testing, field trips, and more happening. It was important for us that we show our appreciation to our Very Important Pioneer teachers and staff members with a little gesture of kindness each day.

On Monday, we kicked off the week with a breakfast in the staff lounge. Plymouth families donated items like bagels, donuts, juice, and more. Did you know that one of the most popular destinations for Plymouth Staff is the coffee station in the front office? We showed our appreciation by stocking them up with Keurig pods and lidded to-go cups. Caramel and Medium Roast are two of the most popular flavors.

On Tuesday, we reminded each Pioneer staff member that “You Rock”! by filling each of their mailboxes with writing prompts completed by students and a chocolate treat from Heather ‘n Holly.

We provided a catered lunch from Qdoba Mexican Eats on Wednesday in the school’s MakerSpace.

On Thursday, we surprised teachers and staff members with a handmade pencil jar with a few goodies inside.

On Friday, we wrapped up the week with a sweet and salty Candy Bar Buffet. Thank you to families who donated candy, chips, and popcorn so we could put together this pick-me-up.
